Brad Shupe, PT, DPT, CSCS
Brad Shupe is a native of Fort Wayne and attended Ball State University where he received his degree in Exercise Science in 2005. From there, he received his doctorate in physical therapy from Indiana University in 2009. Brad has spent his entire professional career treating orthopedic injuries for patients of all ages. He has a passion for working with athletes, especially in late stages of rehab to ensure they are safe to return to sport.
Brad, or "Shupe" as many call him, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and has worked with athletes across all sports. He and his wife Mindy own a CrossFit gym in Lawrence where he leads a coaching staff as a Level 2 CrossFit Coach. Shupe is the director of our Lawrence clinic which is located inside of his CrossFit gym - Ft Ben Fit. This unique setting offers up 8,000 sq ft of rehab and training space... a therapist's dream!
Outside of the professional world, Shupe is blessed with an amazing family. His wife, Mindy, is a firefighter for Pike Township. His young twins, Alex and Avery, keep him constantly busy with all of their activities and sports. Fitness and golf are his biggest passions outside of his family. He'd be up to play golf any free time he has, just ask!
